ECLIPSE is a collaborative research project of five universities, from four continents and four countries namely Mekelle University in Ethiopia, Federal University of Bahia in Brazil, Rajarata University in Sri Lanka, Keele University in The UK as well as Kent and Medway Medical School in The UK.
ECLIPSE is a transatlantic, cross-cultural applied healthcare programme underpinned by a syndemics conceptual framework, which aims to achieve a significant improvement in the physical and mental health outcomes of people with Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) and to empower affected communities through increasing disease awareness and reducing stigma in in the three countries: Ethiopia, Brazil and Sri Lanka.
